Romper Radiance

  

Hey guys!
Sorry I haven’t posted in a while :( I bought this romper a few weeks ago and have been dying to put up a post about it! I wear it often, and it always gets tons of compliments! I haven’t always been a big fan of the way rompers look on me, for I feel they make me look boxy, and a bit bigger than my actually figure, but I fell in love with this one as soon as I tried it on. I got it at Marshall’s for only $15.00! The brand on the tag is called “Love Tease”.

I decided to pair it with some cute, light leather wedges to give it a nice casual summer look. I’ve had these wedges for years but haven’t worn them much because I have trouble making them look right with a lot of outfits, but they look great with this romper. The rope that crosses throughout the wedge wraps and ties around the ankle. They’re so unique and I just had to buy them as soon as I saw them while I was on a trip to NYC. They’re Guess by Marciano.

The gold necklace is a real statement piece but isn’t too over dramatic. It’s nice and simple and has to be because the romper has so much going on with the pattern. I bought it at a small boutique in Bristol, RI called Jackie’s Loft, but have seen it in tons of other stores, like Francesca’s.

The sun hat is from Forever 21. It was a bit of a mess, because the dog got a hold of it and tried to chew it (and she chewed my favor pair of wedges last week :(   ), but I absolutely adore a cute hat!

Summer Whites

Hi guys!

I haven’t posted in a few days even though i’ve had high intentions of doing so — i’ve unfortunately been sick AND have had no one who has spare time to take my pictures :(
But, I decided to try and take them myself anyway! A perfect outfit doesn’t need perfect pictures anyway, right? So here it is. I had to put a timer on and place the camera on the steps in my backyard, and as you can see the dogs are running around like crazy :) haha but enjoy x

The crop top is from H&M (here) as well as the skort. These skort’s are really in style right now and you have probably seen them around a lot. Some styles come fully in a skirt, but I love the short version. It makes it more casual and comfy :)
I wore a black bandeau underneath the crop top to go with the black Michael Kors heels (here) and added just a touch of silver jewelry with tiny midi-rings, a small silver Cape-Cod bracelet, a small silver necklace and silver earrings that had a light aqua blue in the center. I found my really cute midi-rings for less at Pac Sun (here) and my earrings for less at Forever 21 (here)

July Nail Art

Living my entire life in a town that celebrates the Fourth of July for the entire month of July, and holds the oldest parade in the history of the Nation just for the occasion, being patriotic isn't just a one day thing. I goat gel manicure done the day before the Fourth! All red nails, a white accented nail with a navy anchor, they don't go out of style for the entire summer!

Summer Daisies and Stripes

I posted an ‘Outfit of the Day’ post not too long ago wearing these same daisy shorts from LF Clothing with a different white crop top.
The black and white striped crop top is from Banana Republic. It was a handy-down from my mom from when cropped tops were in-style in the 90′s.
I wear this top with so many different shorts and wear these shorts with other different crop tops all the time! They’re two of my favorite pieces I have in my wardrobe and can be worn for any casual summer day :)

Francesca's Frenzy

Francesca’s boutique always has an amazing collection of jewelry for affordable prices. Yesterday, I went there and they had a sale where for one piece, you get another for only $5.00. Both of these were only $12.00! So for a total of $17.00 I got both of these gorgeous pieces that can match pretty much everything.
The midi-ring is both gold and silver, so can be paired with other jewelry of any metal. The wire wrapping is a such a small detail but stands out.
The bracelet is for a bit more of a less-casual occasion, although I pair it up with a few more casual similar style bracelets and will wear it with everyday outfits. Although the leave detail is pretty, I’m not a big fan of it and may in the future take it off.
